Arvedo Press is an independent publishing house based in Texas, United States. This policy covers arvedopress.com and any form, signup or download on it. If you have a question about anything here, write to arvedopress@gmail.com.

Information We Collect

We collect only what you hand us directly:

Newsletter signup. Your email address.
Contact form. Your name, email address, subject and message.
Resource downloads. For resources that ask for it, your email address before the file is sent.

We also receive basic technical information automatically — browser type, device, approximate region, and which pages were visited. This is standard website analytics and is not used to identify you.

We do not sell books on this site, so we never see or store payment details or shipping addresses.

Why we use it

To reply to your message.
To send the newsletter or the resource you asked for.
To understand which pages and resources people actually read, so we can improve them.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who else sees it

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. It is shared only with the services that make the site work:

Our website and forms platform, which hosts the site and stores form submissions.
Our email provider, which stores the mailing list and delivers the newsletter.

Those providers process the data on our behalf, under their own security obligations. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Links to other sites

Our book pages link out to Amazon and other retailers. Once you follow one of those links you are on their site, under their privacy policy, not ours. We receive no personal information back from them.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies: ones that are necessary for pages and forms to function, and analytics cookies that count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some things may behave less smoothly.

How long we keep it

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are kept for as long as they are useful for correspondence, and then deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregate.

Your choices

Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it works immediately. Beyond that, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely — email arvedopress@gmail.com and we will action it. Depending on where you live, you may have these rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or California law; we apply them to everyone regardless.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us something, contact us and we will remove it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and access to the mailing list and form submissions is limited to the publisher. No system is perfectly secure, but we hold very little, which is the best protection we can offer.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting the mailing list will also be announced in the newsletter.
